Contact Us
Dr. Daly is readily available to meet the health-care needs of all Active Members of Andover Medical Associates. Here are the best ways
to contact him:
To Contact the Office:
For Everyone -- Members & Others:
Office Telephone: 978-470-0001 Office Fax: 978-474-6428
Office E-Mail: office@wdalymd.com
During office hours (8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday), you will get the quickest response
through the office at 978-470-0001. At other times, please leave a voicemail, and our Administrative Assistant will check those messages during
the next regular office day.
Office e-mail will be opened by the Administrative Assistant within one business day of receipt. We look forward
to answering your questions.
To Contact Dr. Daly Directly:
For Members Only (others must call the office)
E-mail for Active Members Only: doctor@wdalymd.com
At your convenience, please e-mail any non-emergency questions, and Dr. Daly will answer
within 24 hours. E-mail might serve you better than the cell phone for some of your questions or concerns -- for example, if you need the
doctor to review your record, search for additional data, or do other "homework" before
answering your question, he will be better able to answer your questions more thoroughly and accurately.
Please never use e-mail for any emergency
or other time-sensitive issues. Also, please include everything in the body of your e-mail -- for security reasons, we will never open any
file attached to an e-mail (attached files will simply be deleted).
Only e-mail from addresses registered as active members will be read by the doctor. All other e-mails will be automatically forwarded to
the office administrative assistant, and opened during the next business day.
Cell Phone for Active Members Only
We give each member a "contact sheet" immediately upon joining this practice, with Dr. Daly's cell phone number. Please post this number near
your home phone, and program it into your cell phone. Call Dr. Daly on his cell phone if you have an acute illness or urgent concern, any time outside
of office hours. Dr. Daly will be answering himself -- you will only get the voice mailbox if he is already on the phone with another Member.
During office hours (8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday),
you will get the quickest response through the office at 978-470-0001. While Dr. Daly is with patients, our administrative assistant will be answering
the cell phone, so you will have a better connection by simply calling the office number directly. We will respond to your needs as soon as he finishes
with the current patient.
Since Dr. Daly is always "on-call", please defer prescription refills and other non-urgent issues until business
hours, or send a fax or e-mail anytime. If Dr. Daly is ill or on vacation, he will make arrangements for a covering physician to provide medical
care for you, and notify you of such occurrences by e-mail.
The doctor’s cell phone number is absolutely confidential, and ONLY for Active
Members of Andover Medical Associates. Mutual respect and trust are central to our relationship. If your friends or family would like to join
our practice, have them call our office during business hours, to obtain a membership packet. Dr. Daly is ONLY on-call for Active Members of
Andover Medical Associates. He can not see or treat anyone who is not already registered with our practice. Remember that all patients of the
previous practice received at least two separate legal notices to that effect. Their records are now in the custody of other physicians, and
that previous medical practice has been terminated.
Emergency Room and Hospital Use
LOCAL HOSPITALS: If you need emergency room or hospital services, Dr. Daly recommends Lawrence
General Hospital, where he will gladly provide your inpatient
medical care (as noted in the Member Agreement you signed).
Holy Family Hospital has hired "Hospitalist" physicians to provide inpatient medical care. If you choose Holy Family Hospital and
need hospital admission, you will be assigned to their Hospitalist physician during your inpatient stay. Dr. Daly will be happy to talk with
that doctor at any time, but will not be able to control your daily care.
BOSTON AND OTHER HOSPITALS: You can continue to use any hospital of your choice, as long as it participates with your insurance plan. Since
Dr. Daly is not on the medical staffs of those hospitals, they will not allow him to function as your attending physician during your hospitalization.
But he will be happy to speak with your inpatient attending physician at any time during your hospital stay. Similarly, you can continue to
use any specialists that you would like, as long as they participate with your insurance plan, and Dr. Daly will work with them to coordinate
your care. |
